The Hope Rising fam, of which I am a part of,  is hosting an event!

Have you ever wondered how you could get your slice of the big ol' TECH economy pie in Austin, Texas?$?$?

Come learn about current tech trends and current tech careers! TECH IS EVERYWHERE and in every industry, so we thought it would be good to serve you up some info on "the hill"!

Not interested? Then as always in partnership with the Worship Shed we will have "LIVE" music on "the hill" with CC & nem! PLUS FREE BURGERS & HOT DOGS!!! Now all that..... makes it SXSW style.... which will also be going on this week in addition to Spring Break!

It's about to be ON like popcone or ON like beef & dogs hitting the grill!

Hey Family!

For those that don't know I attend Woodlawn Baptist Church. After my pops, who was a pastor, passed away (he used to come up to BTW with us) I prayed and the Lord led me to this amazing part of Christ's body!

Pastor Russell is good peeps and allows the Lord to use him to share powerful insight from God's word which has mos def shaped & equipped me in my service to the Lord. The church itself constantly has activities going on that are amazing & you can check those out here: www.woodlawnbc.org/events 

There is a prom February 9th for youth with special needs, there's a youth weekend event coming up February 16th where youth stay at host homes and enjoy bible study, food, food, and did I say food, and a great time just hanging out! Back in college I used to help lead these and they were a blast!

I had a chance to catch up with the man himself, Pastor Russell, to see what sermon series he's got going on for the next few weeks in case you're interested. Every time he does a new series I'll try and make sure ya'll know. See the above video if you haven't already!!!!

I've been reporting news on behalf of God's Kingdom for decades.....especially in the "neighborhood" of Christian rap, and this year I've been instructed to report all thangs Kingdom in the neighborhood of Booker T.......cause...uh rah...God bout to do His thang...in case you ain't heard!!! And I'm excited cause....I'm bout to cover it ALL.....He bout to do some serious news making in a ya'lls neighborhood! So get ready! Check out these glimpses of Him moving even befo 2024! Let's Go!!!!!! (YIKES STILL RHYMING...I need to gone & do a NEW SINGLE ya'll...hmmm).

I kicked off our 40 day prayer challenge on "The Hill" at Booker T. December 19th as you can see above!

Anybody can join....just pray for all thangs Booker T. each day for 40 days!

​On day 20 we gone be at Oak Springs Elementary to pray over their needs and on day 40 we gone be on "The Hill" at Booker T. to finish up "LIVE" in prayer. Wanna join us "LIVE" for prayer? Hit me up below and I'll send you the deets!

Also, if you wanna take it up a notch, join us & read Draw the Circle (click the pic above). It tells about how God miraculously responds when folks like us focus and get to praying to Him about a singular issue! Our singular issue....Booker T...... and everyone that live there!
